Principal - Mr. Mark Gutschow
Mr. Mark Gutschow serves as Principal of Blair High School, bringing years of experience in education and school leadership to the role. A longtime educator in the Blair Community Schools district, Mr. Gutschow previously served as Assistant Principal at both Otte Blair Middle School and Blair High School before stepping into his current position. During his career, he taught science, agriculture, and physical education, and also coached softball, freshman basketball, and middle school football, reflecting his commitment to both academics and student activities. Early in his leadership journey, he earned recognition as Region 2 Assistant Principal of the Year. Mr. Gutschow is a proud Blair High School alumnus and holds a master’s degree in educational administration, underscoring his dedication to supporting students, staff, and the Blair community.

Assistant Principal & Activities Director - Mr. Tyler Siecke
Mr. Tyler Siecke is in his 18th year in education and brings a wide range of teaching, leadership, and coaching experience to Blair High School. Mr. Siecke taught for 11 years before transitioning into leadership roles, serving one year as a Curriculum Specialist and Academy Director and two years as a Dean of Students and Assistant Activities Director for Omaha Public Schools. He has also coached football for two years, served as a head basketball coach, and coached track for 14 years, gaining extensive experience supporting student growth through activities and athletics.
He now serves as the Director of Transportation, Director of Activities, and Assistant Principal at Blair High School. Mr. Siecke holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Midland University, a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Peru State College, and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
